A legacy of teacher education since 2011
Pratik College of Education is run and managed by Pratik Educational Trust, set in the lush green surroundings of village Thepahan, P.S. Ziradei, in Siwan District, Bihar. The college is recognized by ERC-NCTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Jai Prakash University, Chapra for the B.Ed. programme, and to the Bihar School Examination Board, Patna for the D.El.Ed. programme.
Believing in the holistic development of human resources, the college strives to make a small but meaningful contribution towards building a knowledge society — nurturing creative, constructive and optimistic educators for tomorrow's classrooms.
Pratik Educational Trust
Pratik Educational Trust is a not-for-profit trust based in northern Bihar, established in 2011 by a group of educators and social workers to close the region's educational gap and empower local communities. Beyond running the college, the Trust engages with the community through awareness campaigns, health camps and adult-literacy programmes, working towards equitable, quality education and the holistic development of every learner.
