The Examination Committee of Pratik College of Education is responsible for planning, organizing, and smoothly conducting all internal and external examinations in a fair and transparent manner. The committee ensures proper implementation of the evaluation process while strictly following academic and regulatory guidelines.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Activities
• Planning and Scheduling: Preparing the academic calendar and detailed timetables for both internal (sessional/model) and external (university) examinations.
• Question Paper Management: Ensuring timely setting, moderation, scrutiny, and secure printing/distribution of question papers while maintaining confidentiality.
• Logistics & Administration:
o Determining student eligibility based on attendance and performance.
o Preparing seating plans and allocating examination halls.
o Creating invigilation duty charts and assigning evaluation duties to staff.
o Arranging necessary stationery and infrastructure (answer sheets, equipment, power supply, etc.).
• Communication: Publishing circulars, guidelines, and schedules for students and faculty, including information on examination fees and deadlines.
During Examination Activities
• Conduct and Supervision: Overseeing the smooth and fair conduct of examinations, ensuring strict adherence to rules and regulations.
• Malpractice Prevention: Implementing measures to prevent cheating, handling cases of unfair means, and reporting incidents to a dedicated malpractice committee for appropriate action.
• Attendance Monitoring: Keeping accurate records of student and invigilator attendance.
Post-Examination Activities
• Evaluation: Arranging for the collection and secure handling of answer scripts, followed by timely internal or external evaluation/spot valuation.
• Result Processing:
o Collecting and scrutinizing marks from evaluators.
o Ensuring accuracy, preparing mark sheets, and publishing results within scheduled timeframes.
o Analyzing results to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Record Maintenance: Maintaining comprehensive records and archives of all examination data, results, and related documents for future reference and audits.
• Grievance Redressal: Addressing student and staff complaints or queries related to results, evaluation, or any other examination issue through a structured grievance redressal system.
• Certification and Documentation: Facilitating the issuance of mark lists, transcripts, certificates, and other necessary testimonials.
• Examination Reforms: Organizing discussions and workshops on improving the examination system and implementing necessary reforms as guided by affiliating universities or regulatory bodies (e.g., NCTE guidelines in India).
